Nottingham

Nottingham has a great variety of traditional pubs and some modern craft bars. Look out for beers from local brewers Castle Rock (traditional real ales) and Neon Raptor (modern craft beers).

Nottingham top 5:

Kilpin Beer House and Junkyard: hidden away down a city centre alley, these bars are owned by the same people and share a courtyard. Kilpin is focussed on European beers, with 12 taps of excellent Belgian and German beer. Junkyard has local and imported craft beers from the USA. Both excellent places to spend a few hours.

Canal house: a fantastic pub located in an old canal house (obviously) with a canal boat in the dock below and a bridge inside the building. Now run by Castle Rock, they still stock lots of guest ales and craft keg beers.

Brew Cavern and Brew Tavern: located in the station and in Sneinton Market, these bars stock excellent local and national ales and craft beers.

Barley Twist: another Castle Rock venue, with excellent craft beer from around the world.
